Millennia premiered on Nifty Gateway on November 27, 2021.
NFTs from the Millennia series were created by Maggie West using a custom time lapse photography process. Minerals from the artist’s collection were photographed on a turntable over a 24 hour period using a spectrum of colored lights. This custom process captures the intricacies of the surface textures in a way that would not be possible with traditional videography. All coloration was done with in camera lighting, rather than post-production.
