The word “calla” means beauty in Greek. Perfectly named, the Calla Lilies collection celebrates the simple elegance of this delicate flower through a vibrant collection of colored images.
Each image in the collection captures the clean lines of the flower through vibrant red and violet hues against a minimal background. Images in the series can be used to create a dynamic set or displayed individually as a captivating standalone centerpiece.
West’s signature use of color is done in camera though colored lighting, rather than post production. The artist uses colored light to blur the lines between documentation and fantasy, creating a world that is familiar but entirely her own.
