Festival Mapping


In an imaginative fusion of art and architecture, West’s will create a new exhibition of her work to be shown on the Palais des Beaux Arts during the Video Mapping Festival. Combining photos and videos from her Minerals and Millennia series with new footage, West will use projection mapping techniques to transform the palace's walls and windows into dynamic canvases. 

The architectural features of the building will serve as the foundation for a creative interplay of color and form, as West maps different photos onto the various surfaces of the Palace. 

As the walls come to life with the kaleidoscopic hues of West's art, the Palais des Beaux Arts will serve as both backdrop and canvas, showcasing a harmonious convergence of photography and projection mapping techniques in a captivating way that will create lasting memories for the festival’s audience.
